The mammoth Grade 6 PEP Examinations are over, however PEP still continues. It is now the time for the Grade 4 students all over Jamaica to get a dose of the bitter medicine. Gone are the days that students could wait until they are in Grade 6 to “buckle down” and start do their school work.
As students matriculate to Grade 4, the seriousness exist, specifically because the results that are received from the Grade 4 PEP Performance Task (PT) examinations will be added the results students will received after completing the Grade 5 PEP PT examinations and subsequently to the Grade 6 PEP examination results. This means that if a student decide that he/she will start studying only when she/she is in Grade 6, and does a poor job on either the Grade 4 or 5 PTs, those bad results will come back to “haunt them”.
The Grade 4 students will only be sitting Language Arts and Mathematics PT, which start on May 30, 2019 and ends on May 31, 2019.
