KINGSTON – With the PEP Ability Test less than one month away, February 23, 2021, teachers and parents alike are ramping up on their preparations.
There has also been efforts from private entities such as PEP Practice and the Reggae Math Foundation Inc. lending assistance to students in need of additional support especially since some students are still absent from school or participating in distance learning, many of which are not quite grasping the information through said medium.
PEP Workshops

PEP Practice senior tutor, Miss Bowen, hosts a free weekly PEP Workshops for students via a YouTube LIVE session, students are also allowed to join the Zoom conference and participate in the sessions. The sessions currently focus on Ability Test preparation, however, it’s the intention to do Performance Task and Curriculum Based Test preparation in the upcoming months.
PEP webinars

On Saturday, January 30, 2021, PEP Practice will host it’s first webinar on Developing 21st Century Skills. The focus of the webinar will be on Problem Solving skills and Prewriting strategies. It’s promised to be a very interactive and informative session. The event is free, persons interested can tune in to the LIVE broadcast of the webinar via PEP Practice’s YouTube channel.
